Hadrian's wall walk July 31st - August 8th 2004
A walk along the length of Hadrian's wall from Carlisle
to Wallsend was successfully completed in August 2004.
This is hoped to raise in excess of £5,000 for Cancer Research and
the British Limbless Ex-Serviceman's Association.
Special thanks to Davy Graham, Haltwhistle Masonic Lodge,
as without his provision of accommodation the walk might not have taken
place!
The Black Bull, Haltwhistle for their hospitality and
the raffle on which raised about £60.
The soldiers of old must have been really fit as
it certainly proved to be a challenge to those who attempted it!
